Who We Are

Ready Pain Management began in 2015, when Dr. Douglas Boler set out to treat pain differently, combining medicine, movement and advanced technology.

Ready Pain Management is a physician-led pain management practice in Gulf Breeze, FL, founded in 2015 by anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician Dr. Douglas Boler, MD. We call our model Ready Pain Management +GYM because we bring two things together under one roof: medical pain care and body optimization. Patients come to us for relief from acute and chronic pain, and many stay to build strength, improve mobility and invest in long-term health. Every plan is directed by Dr. Boler and shaped around your goals.

Our care is non-opioid first. We combine evidence-based medicine, targeted procedures, medication management when appropriate, advanced non-invasive therapies and hands-on care. Explore our pain relief and wellness services or the conditions we treat in Gulf Breeze.

Our Mission

Find the Cause First

We look for what is causing your pain, then help you rebuild function, not just mask the symptoms.

Relief, Then Strength

Relief is the first step. Strength, mobility and confidence help keep you moving long after.

Honest, Informed Choices

We teach you about your condition and stay honest about what each option can and cannot do.

Our Values

What We Stand For

These principles shape every consultation, procedure and therapy session at our Gulf Breeze office.

We Listen First

Every plan starts with your story, your symptoms and your goals. Patients often tell us they never feel rushed.

Personalized Plans

No two patients get the same plan. We match options to your body, your history and your daily life.

Non-Opioid First

We lead with procedures, therapies and movement, and use medication only when it is appropriate for you.

Treat the Whole Person

Pain affects sleep, mood, work and family. We look at the whole picture, not just one symptom.

Honest Expectations

We explain what each option can realistically achieve. We never promise a cure, and results vary.

Education and Partnership

We teach you about your condition and partner with you through every step of recovery.

Dr. Boler is one of the absolute best doctors I’ve ever seen, he is extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough, he never rushes, he’s caring and compassionate and everything you want in a great doctor!! I was very reluctant to change medication when I first started seeing him 8 months ago but after a couple visits I was ready to try his suggestion and I am so glad I did, I honestly haven’t had this much relief in 15 years, and he has an amazing office staff they make every visit enjoyable, always with a smile and great attitude!! I can’t say great things about Dr.Boler and his staff I’m just so grateful I found them!!

**VETS iso medical advice or treatment opts based in medical knowledge** I've never left a review this high before and especially not for medical except one other vet own/ran clinic for a diff specialty. Honestly I was so terrified but genuinely hopeful that if I couldn't get treatment here he'd at the very least know where to help me navigate to with proper next steps. I don't think I'll ever trust civilian medical personnel after local civilian provs/ER staff knew VA was letting me starve to death from a partially paralyzed digestive/malabsorption disorder solely bc no one wanted to be responsible/submit Tricare or VA bs for something like a feeding tube even after agreeing it would stop the severe malnutrition and physical reprocussions of prolonged starvation. I had to survive a trip to Atlanta GA for a "more equipped VA hospital" just to pass out during my app and wake up literally half dead and trapped in a TB quarantine room since apparently I had 3 different systemic infections so neglected they thought initially I was dying of TB. I spent the next 11 weeks in medical abuse and torture hell until I was able to discharge myself and survive the trip back. After that I've been terrified of "simple appointments" and especially providers that think the VA, Tricare, or anything connected will actually save veterans in any capacity. But since this was a self pay option clinic ran by an experienced veteran who continued healthcare after service I decided my fear and medical trauma wasn't going to stop me from speaking with an educated medical personnel that I had a higher chance of being able to trust his advice or treatment. And honestly? I called my veteran buddy that's been through all of these nightmare fuel in a bad lifetime movie plot turned into "serving those who serve bc everyone else let's them fall through the cracks", and laughed as I cried since the first time in 8 years a provider knew ANY of my cond (plus my connective tissue and spine disorder which are currently common in chronic pain communities) let alone almost all of them, it was all of the ones I thought more than relevant to pain management and the success or failure of treatment options, and even the understandably basics of them all aren't diagnostic or treatment relevant to the pain management criteria/areas of study yet he knew more than every so called specialist I've seen for the specific conditions even if we had just agreed yes it's atypical, uncommon so it's been a while since he's heard it, or only knew textbook knowledge and hadn't met a patient in his office understandably so since they're uncommon and don't typically present multiple types in a single patient or that many. So not only did he have more than adequate knowledge for what I came to discuss with him today, was perfectly forward but amazingly compassionate and confident in our options we discussed, but also offered to forward any information he comes across regarding my other conditions. Every veteran and especially any veteran with severe chronic pain and any "extra complex issues" with chronic pain that don't make it easy to "fix" all end up thinking something like "am I really as worthless and unworthy of being seen as more than marketing or just no longer worth anything while I'm alive after serving and ending up with permanent damage?" And today was the first day I've finally felt seen more than I thought I would've been by the time I died. It may sound so stupid to civilians or maybe even other vets but I thought I'd easily die before 35 or just have to accept that I'll never get a chance to have a functional life bc how can you get that if no one will listen WHY you hurt let alone acknowledge all the pieces that make it as severe it is. best part was not being judged/gaslit on my pain level vs how I visually look bc my job as a female weakness=useless and useless="free game" in male dominated work="save yourself or take it"so I'm great at hiding pain to a severe degree bc it was the only way I survived long enough to save myself and get out. Thank you, sincerely!

I recently had my first neo ensculpt treatment . I was very pleased with the whole process. The area treated was very soft and smooth after treatment. The next day my muscles felt a little tight but no pain. Looking forward to my next treatment.
