How Longevity Medicine Works

Physician-guided care for energy, strength and healthy aging

Longevity medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL at Ready Pain Management helps adults keep their energy, strength and a healthy weight through their busiest working years and beyond. Dr. Douglas Boler, MD, an anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician with more than 20 years in the field, guides every plan. Care covers hormone balance for women and men, physician-guided weight support, peptide options for recovery and careful review of the medications you take. Each plan starts with your symptoms, history and lab work. Available end to end by telemedicine: consultation, lab review, dosing and follow-up. Results vary from person to person.

Medical treatment adds to the basics of activity, nutrition and sleep. It does not replace them. Some hormone products are FDA approved, while compounded bioidentical hormones and many peptides are not. The FDA guidance on human drug compounding explains why that matters, and Dr. Boler walks you through the evidence in plain words.

Which Longevity Treatment Is Right for You?

Six physician-guided options compared at a glance

Most patients start with the symptom that bothers them most:

  • Low energy, poor sleep or low drive often point to a hormone or testosterone evaluation.
  • Weight that will not shift with diet and activity fits our weight support program.
  • Chronic pain with several prescriptions is a good reason for a medication review.

Dr. Boler reviews your labs and history before recommending anything.

Frequently Asked Questions About Longevity Medicine

What is longevity medicine?

Longevity medicine is care that helps you stay healthy, strong and independent for longer. It focuses on the gradual changes that come with age, such as hormone shifts, muscle loss, weight gain and slower recovery. At Ready Pain Management it combines lab review, physician-guided treatment and healthy habits. It supports your overall health and works alongside your primary care, not in place of it.

Can I do all of my care by telemedicine?

Yes, medical and longevity care is available end to end by telemedicine: consultation, lab review, dosing and follow-up. Telemedicine visits run Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM CST, and Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Telemedicine is offered to eligible patients, and we confirm eligibility when you book.

What is the difference between hormone therapy and testosterone therapy?

Hormone therapy is the broader option for women and men, and testosterone therapy is focused on men with confirmed low testosterone. Hormone optimization may address several hormones at once. Testosterone therapy targets one hormone with careful lab monitoring. Dr. Boler recommends the right path after reviewing your symptoms and blood work.

Do I need lab work before starting?

Yes, lab work is part of almost every longevity plan. Blood tests show your hormone levels, metabolic health and other markers, so treatment can start from a safe baseline. Repeat labs track how you respond and guide dose changes. Dr. Boler reviews every result with you and explains what the numbers mean in plain language.

Are peptides and compounded hormones FDA approved?

Some are and many are not. Several peptide medications are FDA approved, but many peptides, such as BPC-157, are not approved for human use. Compounded bioidentical hormones are not FDA approved, although FDA-approved bioidentical products exist. Dr. Boler explains the regulatory status and the evidence for any option before you decide, and screens you for safety first.

How much does longevity care cost?

Pricing is personalized and reviewed at your consultation because each plan is different. Ready Pain Management does not accept insurance, so care is self-pay. Financing is available through InstaPaytient (through Affirm), subject to approval, with terms set by the financing provider. Lab costs and medication costs are explained before you start.
